Olympic Lego ring sorting

By | August 6, 2012

We’re obviously very much still in the Olympic mood as today we had fun with our Lego bricks. I cut five cardboard circles to represent the Olympic rings, then we tipped a whole big box of Lego bricks all over the floor and let the toddler match the Lego bricks to the rings.

The toddler had a lot of fun and ended up building some strange shapes from his piles of coloured bricks.

He’s getting really good at naming his colours so this was a great quick activity for him and tied in really well with our trip to the Olympics yesterday!
