What did you get up to on Bank Holiday Monday? We chose to go to Ikea!
Not content with decorating our own bedroom we decided to bite the bullet and make a start on decorating Little Sis’s bedroom. It’s funny how when you start decorating everything else immediately starts to look shabby. Little Sis is in desperate need of some clothes storage so we bought her a lovely wardrobe which should accommodate her growing wardrobe over the next few years.
Fortunately both children enjoy a trip to Ikea, it can’t be due to the free flags they were given! They enjoyed designing their own furniture on the computer there.
Then it was time for a relaxing sit down (for mummy).
Big Brother can always entertain himself.
Little Sis was very happy to finally spend her birthday money from Nanny (thanks Nanny!). She chose a cute wooden kitchen which didn’t take too long to build. The children have been happily playing with the kitchen and cooking up all sorts of concoctions with their play food. This should last them a good few years of imaginative play!
