Whilst Little Sis was at nursery, Big Brother and I had our usual crafting morning. We decided to make some apple sun catchers as they are so easy to make. I drew some apple shapes.
I also cut out lots of small pieces of coloured acetate. We placed the cut outs on a sheet of contact paper (also known as sticky back plastic) then Big Brother filled them up.
He chose the colours really carefully and made one red, one green and one mixed apple. We sealed the apple with more contact paper then I trimmed around each apple.
Lovely – beautiful sun-catcher apples, BB xxxx
This looks a lovely activity and so colourful as well. We ve never made sun catchers before so this is definitely going on our making list. #letkidsbekids
