Both the children received some money from Grandad. Little Sis chose to buy Lego Disney Princess 41050 – Ariel’s Amazing Treasures in our local toy shop. She has quite a few of the Lego Disney Princess sets and really wanted this one.

- Explore the beautiful coral reef and the pretty golden gates
- Search for objects and hide them away in the treasure chest
- Look for the pearl in the shell and help Ariel practise singing
- Swim through the gates and play tag with Flounder the fish
- Accessories include diamond, binoculars, trident, and starfish
This is quite a small set and Little Sis wanted to build it herself. The age guide is 5-12 but she completely surprised me by building the whole thing herself! I sat with her but she found the bricks she needed for each step and built it. Sad times, mummy no longer gets to build Lego for her!
It’s a lovely Lego set to accompany The Little Mermaid film and instantly recognisable. When built there are 3 parts: the golden gates, treasure chest and coral reef.
This goes really well with our other Lego Disney Princess sets but I have to admit we’re running out of room to display them!
