This afternoon Big Brother and I went to our local library so he could attend one of the Summer Reading Challenge events – Record Breaking Buildings. He and the other children were split into two teams and both made a famous record breaking building. His was the Willis Tower in Chicago.
He had a great time, decorating cardboard boxes to look like the skyscraper. I think he was pretty pleased with the result.
Your library does some imaginative events for children – glad he enjoyed it. xxx
