A day at Legoland Windsor

By | September 12, 2015

Today was our annual trip to Legoland Windsor (thanks to some free tickets from the newspaper). It was raining when we got up so we decided to wait until the rain stopped until we left home. Our first stop was the Lego Star Wars display, then on to the boat ride which had been re-branded Coastguard HQ since our last visit. We also visited the train ride, which was now the Heartlake City Express.

Legoland

There was a whole new area dedicated to Lego Friends and Heartlake City which Little Sis loved. She really loves her Lego Disney Princesses but I think this was the next best thing for her. We watched a fun show called Lego Friends to the Rescue and liked Olivia’s House as there were giant Lego bricks to play with and a fun interactive kitchen where you could bake cookies.  The children enjoyed trying out her bed!

Legoland

There were large Lego Friends around to pose with.

LegolandThen it was back to the Splash Safari area as we had packed swimming costumes. It was just about warm enough to play for a while before the children got changed and jumped around Brickville to get warm again.

LegolandThis visit we wanted to explore new areas so headed to Miniland and the Imaginative area for a ride on the Sky riders.

LegolandThen we stopped for a snack and of course a visit to the shop.

LegolandDaddy was very generous and bought Big Brother a Lego Minecraft set as he has just started enjoying playing Minecraft. This set is for ages 8 and over but Big Brother was able to build it on his own.

Little Sis chose a Father Christmas ornament which she was able to build and proudly hung up.
