Bonfire Night hand print art

By | October 7, 2015

Little Sis and I have been having fun with Autumnal crafts lately. Today we made a fun Bonfire Night picture using her hands. She seems to have gone past the stage of covering her hands and arms with paint (thankfully!) but she still enjoys using her hands to paint with.

Use a sponge to paint one hand with red, orange and yellow paint. Try to keep the colours in different areas to mimic the colours of a fire.

As you can see Little Sis enjoyed this!

Carefully place down on a sheet of card, try to fit in at least two hand prints – just add more paint if necessary. We left ours to dry before adding a couple of sticks from the garden for the logs. You can paint in your sticks and logs instead if you prefer.

A simple but effective piece of art for Bonfire Night.
