On a recent trip to Hobbycraft I picked up a great pom pom kit featuring the witch from Room on the Broom. My children love all the Julia Donaldson characters and I knew my 5 year old would love this craft.

It contained a character template on a card and tiny pom poms, we had to supply the glue. The instructions showed numbers so you could match the coloured pom pom to different parts on the template.
My son tried to use a glue stick but the pom poms wouldn’t stick so he used PVA glue instead. He was able to complete this card in about 30 minutes all by himself.
I love the finished result and it will make a great Halloween decoration!
