We recently tried the Nuby cherry soothers which are suitable from 6-18 months (they also produce a 0-6 month soother). They have been designed to flex, stretch and move when sucked and have an advanced air system which allows air to flow between the soother and baby’s skin, reducing possible rash. Edward likes his soothers and took to these really easily. The only thing they lack is a suitable container to carry them around in. Other soothers have come in a handy box which can be sterilised. I always have a plentiful supply of soothers and find a box keeps them safe from fluff when they end up in the bottom of my changing bag!
