The ultimate baby and toddler q&a review has just been published by headline for netmums. I’m a huge fan of netmums and often turn to their website for inspiration and advice so was very happy to review this book.
The book aims to answer 50 of the most common questions about parenting including the use of a dummy, sleeping, weaning, development milestones and potty training. I instantly liked this book as it’s not set out in a manner that a lot of baby books are, telling you how your baby should be developing. Instead, each question is answered from a range of people’s experiences illustrating how different parenting is for everyone.
Having a baby and toddler means I have lots of questions. This book is perfect for flicking through when you have 5 minutes and need an answer to that niggling question.
The book is split into 5 sections by age and every question has gone through my mind at some point. I’m finding the book really useful and the only comment I have is that 12 months+ is only covered by the last 20% of the book. The book aims to cover so many excellent questions but I think the toddler section suffers at the expense of the baby section. I have so many questions about my own toddler which I would be happy to contribute to Volume 2!
