A trip to Westfield and lots of Lego

By | September 23, 2012

As the forecast was so dire we thought we’d head to Westfield Stratford City. This weekend it celebrated it’s first birthday so we knew there would be lots of activities to occupy the toddler. There was birthday cupcakes, balloons, performers and crafts so he was happy and soon covered in glitter.

Our next stop was the Lego store. Miraculously we didn’t buy anything too much (I can never leave empty handed) and we all loved the Lego Advent calendars!

After lunch we visited the Olympic Stadium made from Lego bricks in John Lewis. It was amazing! Built from around 100000 Lego elements it took four people 450 hours to build. I love the fact it was filled with Minifigures.
