You may remember a couple of weeks ago we attended a birthday party for the 30th anniversary of Dear Zoo. We’re huge fans of the book which starts “I wrote to the zoo to send me a pet. So they sent me an…’ A series of unsuitable animals are sent by the zoo which are all sent back. Finally after thinking very hard, they send the perfect pet!

We received a lovely goody bag and I thought I would share some of it with my lovely readers. If you’re not lucky enough to win my little giveaway then head over to the panmacmillan website where they are hosting a great competition to win an iPad 3 preloaded with the Dear Zoo app.

I have a Dear Zoo ceramic photo frame and Dear Zoo Little Library to giveaway to a reader of Treading on Lego.

To enter simply tell me what animal you wish the Zoo would send you. I think the toddler would be happy with a giraffe!

The competition closes at 8pm on September 24th. The winner will be selected at random from all the entries received and notified within 3 days of the closing date via their email address or twitter handle.
