We were invited to Disney to learn more about the latest Disney video games and apps. Unfortunately they were all a bit advanced for the children but I thought I would tell you about some of my favourites.
Brave: The Video Game, inspired by the Disney Pixar movie Brave, is now available for PlayStation3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and Windows PC/ MAC. It offers fans the chance to continue the story of the film and relive highlights from Merida’s heroic journey to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late. Players can go on new adventures and experience non-stop action as they run, jump and battle their way through the rugged landscape of mythical and mysterious Scotland.
Family favourite Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney’s first cartoon star, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, are reunited once again; joining forces as true partners in an epic battle to save Wasteland; an alternate world filled with 80 years of characters and theme park attractions. Mickey must use his magical paint brush and, together with Oswald and his electricity-commanding remote control, determine who their friends really are as they work together to restore balance in Wasteland. Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is available on Nintendo Wii, Xbox360, PlayStation3, PC/Mac from 23rd November 2012.
Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure is a new interactive journey from the globally successful Disney Princess franchise. In the game, players will find that a spell has been cast over the beloved Princess worlds and will need to use their magic wand to help Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle and Tiana restore peace and bring “happily ever after” back to each kingdom. Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure is available now for Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Windows PC/Mac.
