Today was a creative day which started with painting. We wanted to make Auntie Caca a very special card as she’s moving house so we tried painting using corks. It worked quite well and wasn’t as messy as usual!
After lunch we had a look at the blanket I’m making for the toddler. He loves a snuggly and his bedroom is stacked with them so I thought I would make another, they’re also great for playing forts with! Last week I dyed an old wool blanket green and have collected loads of fabric badges to sew onto it. He was very excited and we looked through all the badges and he discarded some he didn’t want and the ones he did want. Then he asked when it would be finished so I’ve been sewing on badges whenever possible…. watch this space.
