We were very excited when we heard that Lightning McQueen and Mater were going to be at our local Toys R Us in Brent Cross. The toddler has been a huge fan for months and we have to watch the films on a daily basis. He has quite a collection of cars and books so we knew he would love the opportunity to meet them in the flesh.
We got to the store early so he could spend his birthday money from Grandad, he bought Fiery Flynn from Thomas & Friends for his train track. Then we ventured outside to where Lightning McQueen and Mater were waiting.
He was really excited to see them and was rewarded with a lovely gift bag containing two more Cars and a 25% voucher off any Cars purchase, you just knew what was going to happen…..
