Shopping locally

We love our local High Street! Ok, it’s not quite as extensive as our old one but it’s pretty good. I’ve already written about the brilliant charity shops where the toddler feeds his Lego addiction and his sister gets her designer labels for less. We also visited the local butcher and bought some supplies for dinner.

We thought we should also try out the local coffee shops. There are plenty. So far we’ve tried the coffee shop inside John Sanders, Cafe Nero and Costa. Today we tried Harris + Hoole. I don’t actually drink coffee but it was so cold I was happy to order a hot chocolate to go along with my cookie. The little people sat and people watched whilst enjoying their smoothies and snacks.

There was also a promising kids corner with some books which we will try and investigate on our next visit. Harris + Hoole gets a thumbs up from us!
