A day at Black Park

By | September 8, 2013

We had a lovely visit to Black Park today so the toddler could sail his model boat.

outsideLittle Sis had her first go too! She now wants a pink boat of her own.

outside (1)Then it was on for a walk around the lake to visit the Children’s Woodland Adventure Play Area which catered for all ages. The children loved running around and trying all the equipment. They both sulked when we made them leave to get some lunch in the Lakeside cafe.

outside (2)The view was really lovely over the lake which was dug in the 18th century as a reservoir for a local farmer. Black Park is next to Pinewood Film Studios so has been used for lots of films, from Hammer Horror to Bond and Harry Potter.

outside (3)Perfect for some outdoor adventures!

What a gorgeous place and perfect for some water play with the boats! With the playground, cafe and lovely surroundings it sounds an ideal place to spend some quality family time. Thanks for linking up and sharing your outdoor fun with Country Kids.

You’re finding some excellent new places to visit. This one looks particularly good. Is Daddy going to make a pink boat for LS?
