A day at Thomas Land

By | September 13, 2013

It’s hard to believe that it’s a week since we spent a very long, but fun, day at Drayton Manor. We were there for a special screening of the new Thomas & Friends film, King of the Railway which took place in the 4D cinema. The film was great and the children were pretty good at sitting and watching it.

As the majority of schools had gone back Thomas Land was very quiet which meant we were able to walk straight on to most of the rides. The toddler loved Terence’s Driving School where he was able to drive around the yard.

Thomas LandThen it was on to Sodor Classic Cars for a drive around with Little Sis.

Sodor Classic CarsWe also took a ride from Knapford Station to Tidmouth Hault, visited the amazing model railway at Discover Thomas and went on Harold’s Helicopter Tours, Crazy Bertie Bus and Diesels Locomotion Mayhem.

Thomas Land (2)We were given an amazing goody bag after the screening and wanted to share something with you so I have two prizes of a build-able Thomas & Friends characters from Mega Bloks to giveaway (either Gordon or James).
