A ride on the train

By | October 12, 2013

Ruislip Lido is fast becoming our place to take friends and family when they come to visit. It’s on our doorstep and there’s plenty of things to do.

First of all we walked around to The Beach and had lunch in the new cafe.

playtimeThen we took a ride on the narrow gauge railway and it was time for a spot of musical chairs.

playtime (1)The toddler ended up sitting next to Grandad.

playtime (2)Then Little Sis fell over and bumped her head (again!) so ended up sitting with Daddy.

playtime (3)Everyone enjoyed the ride! It’s one of our favourite things to do in Ruislip. There are even fireworks next weekend to celebrate the completion of works to enhance Ruislip Lido. On Sunday 20th October, there will be free children’s fairground rides and catering from 3pm on Willow Lawn (next to the Woodlands Centre), and fireworks to music from 7pm!

Lovely family photos of your time spent together. The children looked like they had a fab time and enjoyed their train ride. What great events coming up, don’t forget to take some photos and share them Country Kids. Thanks for linking up.
