We’re starting to get excited about Christmas. I know it’s early and we still have to celebrate the 2nd birthday of Little Sis but Christmas is definitely creeping upon us. We were out shopping last weekend and the shops were full of Christmas music and displays. I have to admit to doing a lot of my Christmas shopping too. I have been buying stocking fillers and larger presents when I see them, mainly to help spread the cost.
The children have been pointing out toys they would like for weeks so I’ve been telling them to add them to their lists for Father Christmas. Top of the little man’s list are Thomas Trackmaster toys. I know he would like some new trains, the Castle Quest set and some extra track. He’s the perfect age for getting the most enjoyment from his train sets and he’s making more imaginative track layouts every time. I love watching him when he’s not aware of me and listening to his little adventures. He’s got a great imagination!
Ever since we saw King of the Railway at Drayton Manor my toddler has been obsessed with the tie-in toys. Every time we visit a toy shop he looks at them and drops a not very subtle hint about the beautifully packaged toys. I can’t wait to see him open the Castle Quest track on Christmas Day.
Thomas is on an exciting mission to save the crown as he rolls around this fantastic Castle Quest track. He must endure five dangerous situations as he circuits the layout – will he complete his challenge?!
The set comes with a cargo car, obstacle pieces and a motorized Thomas engine so he’ll be able to add it to his existing track and have loads of fun. This week he demanded a castle which we made from cardboard – I bet he won’t be able to believe his eyes when he sees his dream toy.
Little Sis is also quite easy to buy for as she has three clear favourites – not bad for almost 2! She’s a huge Peppa Pig fan but also likes Minnie Mouse and Tinkerbell. Thankfully it’s been pretty stress-free to buy both of their toys. It will be Peppa and Thomas galore this year!
kIDS WOULD HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS
Can’t wait to see their faces on Christmas morning……….xxxxx
