A trip to Cassiobury Park

By | January 11, 2014

We ventured to a new park today. We had some shopping to do in Watford and promised the children that we would go to the park when we had finished. We had our first picnic of the year (in the car!) then grabbed the scooters and took off to explore the beautifully named Cassiobury Park.

There was lots to do with plenty of open spaces to run about and scoot, a lovely children’s playground, cafe and miniature railway. I had taken my decent camera out with me so I have some brilliant photos from our trip as the weather was perfect too.

It was difficult to choose a photo for today as I have a few favourites, but I’ve settled on this one of Little Sis.

I don’t take as many photos of her as I should and this is a great one, showing her cold fingers, dirty leggings, and the resigned look on her face as she’s just watched her big brother climb up the climbing frame and away.

Cassiobury Park sounds ideal for your children to have lots of fun and adventure. That’s a lovely photo of your daughter showing her determination to climb. As you say it was bright and dry but cold – I’m sure the children didn’t mind though as they were having so much fun. Thanks for linking up and sharing your outdoor fun with Country Kids.
