I could tell my son was back to his normal self as he was happy to spend the morning crafting with me. Last week he was given two pieces of homework from nursery – a copy of Paddington in the Garden to read and a picture to complete.
We’ve managed to read Paddington in the Garden three times.
When Paddington starts to make a list of all the nice things he can think of about being a bear and living with the Browns he is sure to include ‘the garden‘.
The sentences were reaaaaally long and my son didn’t seem particularly interested in the story. I’m very grateful we have books at home that he adores and we don’t have to rely on the books at school!
He also had to decorate a star which will be hung up in the school hall.
He was happy to put on his Gruffalo apron and get to work.
He chose some colours and used his fingers to decorate the star. I think he did a great job.
Well done, BB, love your star………….glad to hear you’re feeling well again………….xxxx
Lucas says – good job on the homework buddy. I know it’s boring sometimes but you gotta keep the grownups happy. Loving the Star – awesome job.
