Treating ourselves

This morning, with Little Sis safely ensconced at nursery, we hopped on a bus to Northwood. It’s a small place but it had everything we needed. We visited a couple of charity shops before enjoying a milkshake (for the toddler) and a hot chocolate (for me).

Then it was on to the fab little independent bookshop opposite the cafe where we treated ourselves to a copy of Zog by Julia Donaldson. She is the toddlers’ favourite author and we have been building up our collection of her books for our bedtime reading. Our final stop was the shoe shop for a new pair of school shoes. Not bad for a mornings work.
