We love Mondays. Routine works well for us so every Monday we pop along to our local library for story time. The weather was really warm and sunny again so we started our day with a tray of water in the garden with some Playmobil. It always amazes me how much fun water play is to pre-schoolers!
After breakfast we went along to the library. It was so warm storytime actually took place on the grass outside the Great Barn at Manor Farm. It was the perfect location for some singing, stories and games.
Today’s story was about growing sunflowers so the children were excited that the craft was planting our own seeds to bring home. I think they are nasturtiums and really hope we manage to look after them. I remember planting some seeds this time last year at the library and let’s just say they didn’t grow very well!
Love the new crocs – perfect for water-play………xxxx
