It’s that time of year again that Daddy makes us visit model air shows all over the place. Today was Wings and Wheels at North Weald and we set off early for a day out with a delicious picnic to keep us going.
The children enjoyed all the models but especially the model trucks and lorries. It was set up inside a tent and the children were happy to stand and watch it all for ages whilst daddy shopped.
Unfortunately the weather began to turn but we were able to make it back to the car to eat our picnic lunch before the heavens opened.
Then it was back to London to re-visit the boating lake at Palmers Green so we could sail both children’s boats. Our final stop of the day was a friend’s birthday party.
The children were happy to relax and watch some tv with their friends. Little Sis was intrigued by the balloons but never quite got the hang of blowing them up.
