For a long, long time, everyone has known that dogs and cats just don’t get along. Dogs want to play. Cats want to sleep. Dogs want to chase. Cats want to run and hide!     Jemima Puddle Duck, because my Grandma had ducks and hens and a border collie called Kep. Kep kept Jemima safe from the nasty fox just as Grandma’s Kep kept her ducks and hens safe.

    chicken little! my twin sister and i had a treasury of stories with that one in it. Our uncle used to look after us sometimes and we loved it when he read to us as he put on funny voices for all the characters. The version we had was the nice one where nobody dies at the end! i was devestated when i grew up and read the sad version where the fox eats them all!

    As a child I discovered a real love of reading through a teacher at my junior school and a treat was a trip to the library and I would try a bit of everything but I loved Milly Molly Mandy and later Anne of Green Gables and Pollyanna
