Noodle Kids book review

By | February 6, 2015

Today we tried out a recipe from release from Quarry: Noodle Kids: Around the World in 50 Fun, Healthy, Creative Recipes the Whole Family Can Cook Together, which we were sent for review.

Noodle KidsNoodle Kids is the perfect guide to cooking different noodles from around the world with children with 50 simple, healthy and fun recipes. Packed with recipes, tips, suggestions, and inspiration to introduce children to and get them involved in making noodles like Japanese ramen, Italian spaghetti, Southeast Asian stir-fires, and classic American mac and cheese.

Tonight we made Macaroni Casserole (aka cheesy Broccoli and Macaroni Bake-Up). I knew we couldn’t go wrong with this recipe. The children love pasta, they love helping in the kitchen and they love to eat! They helped me measure, did a little grating, and together we put together a delicious meal which the whole family enjoyed. I loved the addition of the broccoli as we can’t eat a meal without a healthy portion of veg.
