The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre

By | March 30, 2015

We started off our Easter holidays with a visit to the wonderful Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Great Missenden. The Museum is aimed at 6 to 12 year olds and features three interactive galleries: Boy gallery looks at Roald Dahl’s school days while Solo gallery houses his original Writing Hut. The Story Centre puts your imagination centre-stage with fantabulous activities to inspire the writer in you.

The jam-packed day included a screening of the film, a tortoise hunt, craft activities, dressing up and face painting.

As a huge fan of Roald Dahl, I’ve always wanted to visit here! Sadly, I’m not really close enough for a day trip, but I’ll have to make the effort and get an overnight stay sorted somewhere as sounds great. 🙂
