Today we made great use of our National Trust membership with a visit to Hatchlands Park. The house wasn’t open but the wonderful parkland was and we took a picnic and stayed all day. Our first stop was the Sylvanian Families trail.

Hatchlands ParkWe ate our picnic in front of the house and the children were overjoyed to find lots of space hoppers to play with. They bounced around and burnt off lots of energy.

Hatchlands ParkWe managed to stop the children from bouncing long enough to take some new family photos, I think this is my favourite!

Hatchlands ParkWe loved our day at Hatchlands Park. It’s really well known for its bluebells which we didn’t manage to see and apparently there are some fairy doors hidden in the woods too. Plenty of things for our next visit.
