Today Little Sis was invited to a birthday party and it was Dad’s turn to go, which meant Mum and Big Brother had the day to themselves. I really wanted to go to the Liberty in Fashion exhibition at the Fashion & Textile Museum so we headed into town for a day out. The tube was really quick so, with time to spare until the exhibition opened, we made a little detour onto the DLR at Canning Town.
We took it all the way to Bank.
Then made our way back to London Bridge to walk to the Fashion & Textile Museum.
The exhibition was amazing but I think Big Brother was pretty tired as all he wanted to do was sit down!
He was very patient and let me read all the exhibition labels and take lots of photographs of all the amazing dresses. He was rewarded with a delicious hot chocolate in the museum cafe.
We also had a lovely lunch before heading home via Victoria so Mum could pop into HEMA.Big Brother was very patient whilst I looked around and popped a few things in my shopping basket. Then it really was time to go home, via South Ken.
And a chance to the Piccadilly Line.
Before we forgot to change at Acton Town and had a little detour to South Ealing and back!
Looks as though you might have crossed a few more stations off your list too……….xxxx
