Duck Tape R2D2 container

By | February 2, 2016

Big Brother is really enjoying his Star Wars crafts at the moment. Our Duck Tape collection is getting a little out of hand so we came up with a craft to use some up – and made a Duck Tape R2D2 container.

We used:
Duck Tape in blue, white, silver and orange
empty cotton buds container
scissors
a piece of paper
sticky dots

The first step was to cover the bottom half of the container with the white Duck Tape. We wanted to add some detail so cut some small pieces of the blue and silver Duck Tape and added them to a piece of paper. This made it much easier to cut the small pieces we needed than trying to cut the Duck Tape.

We applied these small pieces to the base of our container with sticky dots.

The top of the container is clear so we added a few more pieces of the silver Duck Tape to the top along with an orange button (the only colour we don’t have is red!).

This is a cute sized pot, perfect for storing Star Wars abatons!
