The children were so happy to arrive at our favourite holiday cottage. The sun was shining so we headed straight for the beach. The children started picking up all kinds of treasures!
After our walk along the beach they wanted some ice cream and luckily we found a little kiosk selling delicious Kelly’s ice cream. We all tried different flavours which were divine.
After we had polished those off we picked up some buckets and spades as the children wanted to build sandcastles and play on the beach some more. We found a lovely pub where we could sit and enjoy a drink whilst the children played.
They collected lots and lots of treasures to take home and wash. I can’t wait to see what happens to them.
Look at these happy faces, and let’s ignore the fact they were burying themselves in the sand!
They had a great time and were happy to pick up fish and chips for dinner before heading back to our holiday cottage by the sea.
