My Pinterest stream is full of pretty Spring flowers so I thought it was time we crafted some of our own. Little Sis chose her favourite colours of paint and I set her up with some white paper and an apron. I drew two lines on the paper then she carefully poured out some paint and used her fingers to make the flowers.
She went along each pencil line with her finger print flowers, up one side and down the other.
We left the paint to dry then she went over the pencil line with a thick green crayon.
She added some leaves to finish off her finger print hyacinths.
What do you think? This is a simple craft activity but looks great for our May Day celebrations.

Such a lovely simple idea. We made something similar for thank you cards and they were so easy, yet good fun. She looks really engrossed in her flower creations.

We were doing this just last Friday for activity hour. I’m trying to think of how to make a maypole for this week and get the children dancing the patterns. I think I’ll keep finger print flowers as a back up too! #LetKidsBeKids
This is so sweet! I just love her fingerprints and it makes a lovely picture! ?
What a fun project! I’m adding it to our May Day list!
