We heard that our local park had had a bit of a makeover so, as the sun was shining, we decided to go and check it out. We took the bikes too so they cycled round the park a few times first. Then it was time to explore the new playground.
Everything had been replaced and there was plenty to keep them busy and test their skills. The playground is always full of people and the children had so much fun trying everything out. One of us may have got stuck at the top of the climbing frame but his younger sister showed him how to get down!
After their weekly swimming lesson we headed to Roxbourne Model Railway which has recently opened for the year. We all had a ride on the train before enjoying an ice cream and heading home after a busy day.
