The best thing about being a SAHM is the chance to help on school trips! Today I visited Bhaktivedanta Manor, just outside Watford, with Year 2. It’s the most amazing place with a farm, temple and is really well set up for school visits. We spent day there and the children loved it!
I was allowed to take a photograph of my son in his special clothes – everyone looked amazing.
There was quite a lot to take in but this term Year 2 are studying the main religions. They asked lots of questions and enjoyed the experience.
As a parent helper I got to enjoy lunch too, in a separate room to the children! The food was amazing and all cooked by the lovely people who work at Bhaktivedanta Manor.
Bhaktivedanta Manor is such a welcoming place and I would recommend it if you get the chance to visit.
