The weather was pretty miserable today so we decided to turn our attention to St George’s Day which falls in two weeks. We’d seen a couple of ideas on Pinterest, inspired, we thought we would try our own version. We didn’t need many supplies:
After I explained about St George and the dragon many times we got painting. We painted an old egg box green, then we painted it again to make sure it was completely covered. When it was dry we added a red tongue from felt, paper spines and the all important googly eyes.
Hmmm, more monster than dragon, I think, but the toddler was very proud of this one.
Quite the nicest dragon I ever saw, well done, BB…….xxxx
Oh CUTE!!! Reminds me of Puff the Magic Dragon for sure 🙂 Thanks so much for entering the PinAddicts challenge too! Will post on Facebook & Twitter for you now! Kerry xx

This looks so cute, my 3yr old would love it, we have so googly eyes too so might give it a go 🙂
love your “monster/dragon” he’s great and the little artist looks pleased! thanks for sharing on Craft Schooling Sunday!
A dragon can never have too many eyes. Constantly needs to be on the lookout for sword wielding knights. I love it!
Egg boxes are great for crafts. My youngest made one for Chinese New Year and ended up chasing her older brother and sister around with it.
