We had a lovely picnic in the grounds of Farleigh Hungerford Castle today. The children loved exploring the ruins of the castle. There were some amazing medieval wall paintings in the chapel as well as rare lead anthropomorphic coffins from the mid-17th century in the crypt beneath it.
We couldn’t resist a couple of items in the gift shop. Little Sis got her first sword whilst the toddler chose a dinosaur dragon head which then spent the rest of the day ‘eating’ everything!
