We decided to stay a little closer to our amazing holiday cottage today. The morning was spent taking the historic Teignmouth to Shaldon ferry and back again. Little Sis didn’t seem to enjoy it but her brother did.
In the afternoon we ventured as far as Dawlish Warren where a steam train was passing through so we stopped to photograph it and wave at the passengers. We didn’t have a great vantage point as there was a lot of engineering work going on and much of the public footpath was closed due to storm damage.
From our seat on the sea wall Big Brother could see the small play area and amusements. He wasn’t happy until he was allowed to go on the huge slide, although he only went on it once, I think it was a little higher than he realised. A ride on the go karts with daddy soon cheered him up!
