Win a copy of Peek A Book

By | October 27, 2014

Autumn evenings are perfect for snuggling on the sofa with a book and I have a great book giveaway to share with you today – Peek-a-Book from Parragon Books!

With holes to peek through and shapes to peep over, join this cat and dog in their playful, peek-a-boo romp through the pages.

For a long, long time, everyone has known that dogs and cats just don’t get along. Dogs want to play. Cats want to sleep. Dogs want to chase. Cats want to run and hide! One little cat knows all this very well. So she runs… into a book where she eats a little bear’s porridge, through a story where she circles round and round and down a beanstalk and through so many more favourite fairy tales and rhymes. And of course, a dog chases her!

Peek-a-Book

Peek-a-Book is written by award-winning author Malachy Doyle and illustrated by Rowan Martin.

Giveaway:

I have one copy of Peek-a-Book to giveaway to a reader of treading on lego. This is a lovely book for pre-schoolers and adults who will love to read the story and follow the cat and dog through some of their favourite childhood stories.

Jemima Puddle Duck, because my Grandma had ducks and hens and a border collie called Kep. Kep kept Jemima safe from the nasty fox just as Grandma’s Kep kept her ducks and hens safe.

chicken little! my twin sister and i had a treasury of stories with that one in it. Our uncle used to look after us sometimes and we loved it when he read to us as he put on funny voices for all the characters. The version we had was the nice one where nobody dies at the end! i was devestated when i grew up and read the sad version where the fox eats them all!

As a child I discovered a real love of reading through a teacher at my junior school and a treat was a trip to the library and I would try a bit of everything but I loved Milly Molly Mandy and later Anne of Green Gables and Pollyanna

Thanks for the chance to win x
