Daddy made us a take a detour back to London via Salisbury Plain. It was a beautiful drive but hovered around freezing all day. We did stop off for a few photographs although the children never stepped out of the car until we were home.
We had heard there was a spectacular display of Christmas lights at a house on Longford Road, Melksham. On our way home we decided to stop off and see them. They were pretty impressive! After a hectic few days we escaped to Nanny’s. The children were happy to pack a bag of their new toys and de-camp.
