Today was expensive as we were kitting out the toddler for his new pre-school. He chose a new coat and a pair of bright yellow wellies – perfect for jumping in muddy puddles. We treated ourselves to lunch at Wagamama as a reward for braving Brent Cross.

In between the rain showers we were busy baking today, our cake of choice was cupcakes. We added green buttercream to vanilla cupcakes then placed a colourful lolly in the centre to make them look like flowers. They didn’t quite look like the ones we saw on Pinterest but they were very tasty.
