Racing Supercars

It was Daddy’s birthday on Monday and today we spent the morning on a de-commissioned Cold War airfield watching him drive Supercars.

Supercars on a run wayThe weather soon brightened up and it was quite fun watching him whizz around the racing track in all the different cars.

driving SupercarsThe children were happy too and I think they would have both raced to sit in the back seats and gone with him if possible.

Secret Father’s Day crafting

With Father’s Day coming up soon we’ve been busy making some secret gifts for Daddy. This morning we made a card which Big Brother enjoyed.

There was lots of glueing.

And some coloured tissue paper.

Bet Daddy can’t wait!

Lego The Simpsons Minifigs

As huge Lego fans I admit we’ve bought a couple of the new Lego Simpsons Minifigs. 16 minifigs have been released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of The Simpsons as well as The Simpsons family house in Lego form and an all-Lego episode of The Simpsons (which will hopefully be aired in the UK soon).

The series contain the following:

1 Homer, 2 Bart, 3 Marge, 4 Lisa, 5 Maggie, 6 Grandpa, 7 Flanders, 8 Krusty the Klown, 9 Milhouse, 10 Ralph, 11 Apu, 12 Nelson, 13 Itchy, 14 Scratchy, 15 Officer Wiggum, and 16 Mr Burns.
So far we have Maggie, Grandpa, Flanders, Krusty, Apu and Nelson which is quite good as they are all sold in blind bags.

Little Sis and I bought two more for Daddy today at our favourite Red and White shop and the children were really excited to open them with him and see who was inside.
