Today we had our first picnic with some friends who had come over to visit daddy. Grandad is still visiting whilst Daddy is in hospital. Today Grandad helped lots with Edward (except nappy changes!). We went for a walk along the beach at Appley, had a bath, visited Daddy and smiled at all the lovely nurses, and went for lunch at the Bargeman’s Rest. Phew. Exhausting! Another busy day today. Baby met his grandad for the first time. Daddy is still in hospital so we’re posting a picture of us all enjoying the beautiful sunshine on Appley beach a few days ago.
