Big Brother wanted to do some more Halloween crafting today. Having read The Twits he wanted to put an eye ball in a drink and give it to Daddy. I’m not sure where he thought we could get an eyeball from but luckily he settled to draw an eye on a piece of paper instead.
Then we made some spooky wrappers for some chocolate bars which we saw in a Martha Stewart craft book. First he drew the shapes he wanted, then he cut them out and wrapped them around chocolate bars.
He made a skeleton
And a ghost
I think they’re quite cute and definitely good enough to eat.
Today was another busy day. It started with a trip to the park where Big Brother learned to ride his bike!
Then he went to a cool Halloween birthday party with a very special guest. It was a Halloween themed party so he was able to wear his favourite onesie. There was lots of Halloween themed food too.
After the party we visited our favourite fairy house by the woods where he found a nice surprise waiting for him.
He was so pleased to receive a little gift that he went home and wrote a lovely letter for the fairy house for us to drop off soon.
Little Sis and I spotted some pumpkins in M&S today so we picked up one for Daddy. He said he wants to practice carving so we hope he’s going to make something special this year.
When Big Brother got home from school the pumpkin inspired him to create this wonderful Pumpkin Man drawing.
