Christmas lights at Melksham

We had heard there was a spectacular display of Christmas lights at a house on Longford Road, Melksham. On our way home we decided to stop off and see them. They were pretty impressive!

Santa Shuffle at Ruislip Lido

This morning we surprised the children with a trip on our local Santa Shuffle. It was pretty cold but we wrapped up warm for a ride on the train.

IMG_8651We got the chance to meet Father Christmas and Big Brother was very happy to tell him what he wanted for Christmas. Little Sis was a bit shy but her brother told him she wanted some Peppa Pig toys. As we were leaving she finally piped up that she actually wanted some new Sylvanian Family toys. Perhaps next year she’ll be a little braver.

Our very busy day

Today was one of those busy days where we didn’t really sit down. We seem to have a lot of them.

We had two parties to go to. The first was a 5th birthday party with the rest of Big Brothers’ Reception class. Little Sis got to join in too.

Then we went to our neighbours’ house for his 80th birthday. The theme was Hawaiian.
