Today we decided to have a day out at Willows Farm Village. We’ve been meaning to go for ages so off we went with two teething children, both with colds. Yes, we hadn’t fully appreciated that a farm would be outside!
Fortunately there was lots to do indoors as well. The toddler enjoyed the sand pint, the ride-on JCB’s, lunch and the tractor ride. He didn’t enjoy the animals or meeting Timmy the Sheep.
There are lots of activities throughout the day and we really enjoyed the falconry display, unfortunately minus the falcon who had had a crash landing the day before. The toddler was allowed to hold out his arm for an owl which we think he enjoyed, although he seemed more concerned that his sleeping sister should have a go too!
We love Willows Farm! A little bit expensive but all activities are included and there are play areas, picnic areas and animals galore. It just helps if you have a child you likes animals!
This is my entry for the #BritMums Snap Happy Photo Challenge – the theme isĀ ‘view from above’.
That’s very brave for a boy who is wary of animals. Well done, BB….xxx
