Yesterday I finished another quilt, a pretty Liberty rainbow quilt for Little Sis. I bought the fabric at the Knitting and Stitching Show last October and knew it would be my first sewing project on 2016. As the strips were pre-cut it really didn’t take me longer than a few evenings.
The front is made from strips of Liberty, the back features a single piece of Gallymoggers Reynard fabric from the Alice in Wonderland themed SS15 Collection by Liberty. I did simple quilting in the ditches and it is very pretty – perfect for Little Sis!
She loves it which I am pleased about. I used a really light weight batting so it’s more of a summer quilt, but it’s been perfect for cuddling up with on the sofa when she has felt ill this week.
