What do you do over a Bank Holiday weekend but visit Blackpool! We left our house bright and early and headed to Euston for our train north. The children were very happy with their window seats and the chance to sit and read magazines and play some games.
Before we knew it we arrived at Preston and changed to a smaller line to Blackpool North.
Before long we arrived at Blackpool! The children loved the Big Blue Hotel as they could sleep in bunk beds for the first time. They also had their own tv screens and a giant Snakes & Ladders game to play too.
We headed out to explore Blackpool, taking a ride on the tram and visiting the top of Blackpool Tower.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but we walked around the outside viewing platform before heading back inside where it was warmer and drier!
